MAY 2005

The Atcha Band have finally finished their new record and are currently looking around for a suitable release which in these days of American Idol schmooze and tribute band trash ain't easy. But hey, class will tell.

To that end the band are holding a small showcase gig at THE BULL'S HEAD, BARNES, WEST LONDON on Monday the 23rd of May. All welcome, especially rich record execs!

The band is also playing in ZOETEMEER in Holland on Friday 20th May. FRIDAY 10th JUNE sees them at THE MARINE THEATRE LYME REGIS. This should be a good gig in the Dorset sea side town, famous for The Cobb and Jane Austen....Remember French Lt's Woman?

Enough of the travelogue.

SATURDAY JULY 9TH sees the band at the MARLBOROUGH FESTIVAL where they have appeared for the past 6 years and always attracted a good crowd. That event is in the afternoon so they will perambulate westwards to BRADFORD UPON AVON and THE BLACK CAT CLUB at the RIVERSIDE INN for 9 pm that evening.

On WEDNESDAY 13TH JULY Chris will be performing at The Unicorn Hotel as part of the Somerton Arts week, along with David Hatfield, Dez Moore and other good musicians. Other dates in the pipeline to follow.
